Recently reopened. Bar captures spirit of the original "Sun" with log fire. Lovely terrace catches the afternoon sun.

We came for lunch, having seen the enticing adverts with great illustrations on Facebook. We chose the prix fixed menu and were not disappointed. Imaginative and delicious recipes: I hope these continue. The interior of The Marlborough also is wonderfully atmospheric.We will certainly return.
Had an absolutely DELICIOUS roast dinner here for Mother’s Day. Best roasties I’ve had in a long time!! Definitely will return. Staff were kind, attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.
Came here recently for an evening meal and it didn’t disappoint. The inn has lovely olde world setting and oak panelled walls. I had the Korean fried chicken to start and cheese burger as main (no venison stew left sadly). But the burger was great and you could really taste the meat. My partner had the aubergine veggie option and rhubarb crumble which she raved about. Service was great and very friendly. My only gripe is the tables.
