We stayed two nights & loved every minute. Gorgeous leafy setting, beautifully appointed rooms, restaurant & lounges. Excellent food, wine & breakfast menu. Warm welcoming staff & waitstaff who anticipated our every need with perfect timing.Quiet luxury. Highly recommend.
Have visited here numerous times, bad sadly, the dining experience gets worse every time. Visited here for Sunday lunch, now l don't mind paying for quality and a satisfying meal, but what they now charge is ridiculous for what you actually get. We just lucked into our stay here when visiting nearby Dunnottar Castle. We couldn’t believe it. Beautiful place, excellent staff, big well appointed rooms (we were in Blair), great restaurant, and the price was the best bargain of all the places we stayed in Scotland. Can’t recommend it enough!
Booked a night for my mum and dads 40th wedding anniversary and my mums 60th birthday and they had the most wonderful experience. From start to end they had a 5 star experience, the service, food, room, everything, was first class. I cannot thank you enough for providing them with such an exceptional experience.
I love the Marcliffe. Got married here 17 years ago and have been back multiple times over the years. Exceptional every time
