They call it Mazey day, they should call it rip off day charge you a pound a plastic glass what cost them about 20p and then put a pound on all drinks no concession for locals , and then the landlady tried to justify it by saying the band cost her £5000, which wasn't true because I was sat next to one of the mums of the band and she said they don't get nowhere near that what a way to treat locals

Lovely location and great views, the hotel is clean annd the staff are very friendly, over the last 25 years we had enjoyed our stays here very much. This time was for a special celebration and a trip down memory lane, which we booked well in advance and we reserved our favourite room which the hotel kindly confirmed when we called the week before visiting. Good location right on the Penzance promenade. The rooms are no frills but perfectly functional and clean, only criticism was that my mattress was a bit lumpy and could do with replacing. Only includes basic shower gel so bring your own shampoo. The included buffet breakfast was great, and included the usual cooked items - bacon, sausages, eggs etc as well as cereal and fruit. Staff who I interacted with were friendly. Overall this place represents good value and I would recommend
