Hotel is in a lovely setting, room was very spacious, food good too. Excellent value for money.
This hotel was a real find. It seems slightly old fashioned in a very comfy and friendly way. The staff were extremely kind and helpful and my room was very comfortable. I need a special diet for medical reasons and the staff couldn't have tried harder to accommodate me This hotel leaves the chain hotels in the shade. I would love to stay there again and would actually go out of my way to do so. Well done, Lismoyne Hotel.
We held our wedding reception here in August & Kim & all the staff were brilliant, it has a very friendly feel not like some big corporate hotels. We had the 2 function rooms & everything was arranged exactly as we wanted. We had a cream tea & buffet & late night pizza, food was all good. All the guests were pleased with the rooms (some are a little dated ) but all comfortable.
We arrived here for afternoon tea, the garden room or wherever we were sat looked like a run down conservatory. The afternoon tea was dry, not appealing at all. Option to take leftovers with you. The scones were unfortunately not good, we all know that's a problem. We wouldn't come back. Id say you need to drive to access the hotel easily, fleets public transport isnt brilliant either.
This hotel is a gem. Charming, old fashioned in the best sense of the word. Feels family run. The staff couldn't have been nicer and the bar Caesar Salad i had late at night after arriving was the best Caesar Salad i have ever eaten - and i have eaten a few!
