Mitten im Nirgendwo auf der schottischen „Isle of Arran“ ein traditionelles, schönes altes Hotel mit Restaurant und viel Natur und sehr freundlichen Gastgebern.
Urigen Ambiente, leider in einigen Bädern durch die feuchte Umgebung und Alter des Hotels Schimmelbildung. Das Essen war sehr gut (Hausmannskost) und das Personal sehr freundlich. Für Hundeliebhaber sehr geeignet.
Lagging behind ! Start with the positives 1 the steak pie was terrific 2 the serving staff the night I was there were positive and proactive and had a great knowledge of whiskey..….. The hotel itself is tired. I was staying as a single guest and paid £150 a night bed and breakfast. I used the shower when I arrived. The water didn’t drain properly and I thought the carpet of the bedroom would flood (it didn’t). Our meal in the restaurant was excellent. Staff were pleasant and efficient. We didn't have to wait too long for our meal, when it arrived it was freshly cooked and hot. Food was tasty, large portions so no room left to try a dessert. Price was extremely reasonable. Would definitely recommend this place.
