Verified Renter I cant speak for everyone, but my apartment has a canyon view with amazing sunsets every single evening. The peaceful apartments have plenty of trees and hearing the wind blow through the pine trees outside my apartment make me feel like Im on vacation in the Sierras (happy place). The easy access to the trails behind the apartment make living with a golden retriever great because we essentially have a backyard for him. I do recommend these apartments for a short time or long time residence.

Verified Renter We love the Knolls! For the rental price , it is far superior to other leases. The newly reopened pools and gym are spectacular. Very friendly staff. Love parks and open space location. Unless we can afford a house , this is our home.
Don’t even bother Where to begin? Maintenance never happens!!!! I have waited MONTHS for simple yet super important maintenance to get done. When you call they say “sorry maintenance is sooo busy” SOOOOO? Watch out being late with your rent for a few hours tho zero tolerance yet we the tenants have to tolerate their incompetence ... oh and the yearly $200 price hike. I’ve been here 4 years and every year there is a price increase of 200... for what? Finally after 4 years I see them doing upgrades.... yet the service still su... read more
Terrible management Everything is falling apart. If you file a service request, good luck!!! God knows when the maintenance people will get to it. I wish I would’ve never moved to this place. It’s a shame, such a nice location has a terrible management team. No wonder reviews are so bad.
Horrible apartment. Egregiously overpriced. Probably the worst managed apartments in Thousand Oaks! Dirty , unsafe, service is the worst and rents are very high.. takes months and multiple calls to get anything fixed. The only 3 machines in the "gym" have been broken almost a year now and are unusable. Severe mold issues that go unaddressed. The Knolls is crime infested and not a good place if you have kids and safety and peace are important to you.
Fair for the Price I would say this building is fair compared to the price of rent. All amenities are not modern. The countertops are painted and chipped and the people in the resident are not professionals. They are more like a section 8 building.
