We have visited the Kings Arms when visiting Stainton on an annual basis, we went twice on our most recent visit. The food, atmosphere and service is exceptional. Portion sizes are substantial.
After struggling with other pubs in the area as they have spaces but we didn't booked or they are closing soon and it was still 7pm, we glad that we ended up with this pub (The Kings Arms Inn) where the pies are super delicious and we enjoyed the cosy feeling and staff very helpful and polite!
Staff so lovely, friendly and accomodating. We were there to parents celebrating 60th wedding anniversary at one of their old haunts. Typical pub food, good portions for most dishes. Could improve the Mediterranean salmon dish (nothing Mediterranean about it really, salmon and salad leaves , needed some carbs, hence the four stars) Toilet a struggle for disabled who need help as small ordinary size cubicles and 2 offset doors to get in.
