Absolute disaster ! After what was a fun booking experience we arrived for a birthday family meal - only 6 of us - i had to guess which was our table - i then had to go to the bar and ask for menus as no one came to us - i then had to ask someone who was serving to take our order - the people who work there seem to be more interested in going outside for a smoke or to check their phones rather than concentrating on customers - talking of outside - dirty - ashtrays full - left over food by the barbecue - food turned up and me... read more
What a shame... I've been going to the King's Arms aka The KA for 28 years. In those years it's had its ups and downs with various Land Lords and Land Ladies trying to create a great place to eat, drink and meet friends. Recently the KA was taken over by some new custodians and as it was my Birthday, we thought we would go along as a family and sample their Sunday Lunch. Absolutely great food home made and what a great pub if you are passing or are in cleabury you need to stop and try the food very impressed thankyou
Just had a family meal (9 of us) and I have to say the food was second to none, with exceptional service. The beer is pretty damn good too. Well done to Dean, Jo, Charlotte and Ollie and thank you.
