Great place to have a drink in the sun but table service was slow. Beautiful building in heart of York. Worth a visit and definitely a stay.
Adorable, charming and comfortable hotel. Our room was cozy, bed, pillows and comforter were extremely comfy. We slept great. Loved the skylight in the bathroom. Staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Wonderful location with tons to walk to. Wish we had time to check out the bar which looked very cozy.
We staying in room 4 for four nights. Everything was just as we hoped. Breakfasts each morning were perfect. We had a wonderful server for breakfasts, we do not know her name, but we love seeing her every morning, she takes good care of us and every one else! Rosa was our server for two dinners, she was wonderful, she greeted us with smiles and took great care of us!

Can’t comment on the rooms. Stopped today as looked nice from the outside - that’s as far as it went. We sat outside. Floor was littered with cigarette butts. Service was initially quick. Had two sandwiches - One was fine but very average for the price paid and nothing to shout about. No option to upgrade crisps to chips - have to add them as a side.
