Very welcoming, happy hour good value and food looks good
We have stayed previously, unfortunately on this occasion our room stank of dog
We went to the Hope and Anchor for dinner as a group of six plus our dog. The menu was wonderfully varied, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back next time!
Great food, friendly staff, good value. Went last night as a party of 4 and we ordered a real mix of whitebait, pizza, fish and chips and curry. Everything was first class. The fish and chips was fantastic. Gigantic piece of fish, crispy hot batter, heaps of homemade chips and great mushy peas. Everyone else enjoyed theirs also. Recommend big time
