Home Depot sucks if you get something delivered! We waited TWO WEEKS only to have our delivery CANCELLED and rescheduled at the LAST MINUTE... AGAIN! Now we go two more days without a washer. And the delivery company could not guarantee a delivery time! We will NEVER buy an appliance there again! And this is NOT because of Covid, this has happened with other orders before. Very disappointed!!
I am so POed at HD! They no longer make the color blinds we have so they can’t order a new one. The want me to uninstall it and bring it in for repair and it will take 4 weeks to get it back!!! They will provide me with some sort of paper blind to cover the window! I told them it was unacceptable and that I wanted to escalate to the manager. I told the manager that we spent over $1,300 for blinds less than a year ago and one is already broken. I asked that they replace all 4 blinds in the room at not cost…they said no. I ask... read more
I have mixed emotions. I've ordered quite a bit from HD. The ship to home service is awesome because they themselves bring it to your home for free. Amazing! On the not so amazing part that you should be aware of. AVOID scheduling delivery option. It's $35 and goes through unreliable FedEx. Something weird is going on with FedEx Oak Park. Packages are just sitting in trailers for weeks. No updates are being provided. An HD rep contacted them and got the same run around I did. I know this isn't just an issue with the Livonia store, but there is absolutely no way to contact Home Depot. I have a delivery is missing. I've sat multiple times on hold for over a 1/2 hour, tried to email but it came back saying that no one was responding. I texted and got an automated response saying it was disabled. How am I supposed to contact someone about an order??!!? I am overly frustrated. I'm angry that I spent nearly $1000 at Home Depot and can't start any project until I get the order. It needs to be more organized ! I placed an order for pick up, its been 8 days the items are in store but not ready for pick up. I called twice no one is able to tell me a pick up date. Poor organization, chaos.
