Such a magical place. Complete peace and quiet. Beautiful surroundings and a hot tub. Ww couldnt have wished for more. The cabin is gorgeous and contained everything we could have needed. Highly recommend.
My partner & I stayed last weekend, in summary, we could not recommend Skep, The Hiveaway more! Lauren & Nick were friendly, attentive, thoughtful & responsive hosts providing the getaway we both needed. We rested in the beautiful cabin with provided local Mokapot coffee, relaxed in the Hottub with incredible view, BBQed all our treats over the firepit, foraged SO many blackberries on site, wandered the riverside woods & made it up to The Bafodill for a quick Roast & Cider before leaving. We loved it, thank you!
Fabulous place to escape from busy reality, we had the most beautiful stay, the hosts where great, nothing is too much trouble, sunsets from the hot tub where incredible, views from the most comfortable bed where unbelievable, stargazing next to the fire, the place is so peaceful, could of stayed a lot longer than 3 night, thank you for creating this retreat, will definitely be returning.
A few nights escape at The Hiveaway in their 'Hyde' cabin was just what we needed. Secluded and private with great views of the rolling hills; this is rustic luxury. A well appointed cabin provides comfort and more! There's a wood-fired hot tub you need to light well in advance of use but it's worth the wait. What a wonderful place, my wife and I stayed at The Skep for 2 nights and it wasn’t long enough. We loved the hot tub and all the little touches. We played all the board games and loved cosying up by the fire. You can even see the stunning view lay on the floor by the fire, through their unique hexagon windows. Plenty of privacy and easy to communicate with hosts if need to. The hosts checked in with us on our first day to make sure we made it safely :) Checking in and out is so easy.
