We stayed here for 4 nights in August 25. Check in said from 5pm but we arrived at 3.45pm and no problem with us checking in early. Jason was friendly and made us feel welcome. Room was nice and very clean. 2 bottles of water, 2 packs of biscuits and a chocolate each on our side tables. There was also a small bottle of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel as well as a small bar of soap. Shame, nice pub but service wasn’t welcoming at all. Came for a spot of lunch but were asked have you booked? When we said we hadn’t the man serving us said well you’ll have to sit there but people that booked will be served first so you’ll have to order after??? Didn’t bother in the end and had a quick drink then left.
Good home cooked food in a traditional pub setting.
