We stayed here a few weeks back for 1 night. The family room was spacious and well decorated. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back if we venture to Taunton again.
Whilst on a weekend break we enjoyed a meal at the Hatch Inn and it was by far the best pub we visited during the whole weekend. Our meals arrived quickly and hot, we both ordered the steak and ale pie which we found rich, delicious and filling! The staff were very friendly and efficient! If we find ourselves in the area again we will definitely be booking a table at The Hatch once more!
The perfect "local ". Friendly staff, two ales on the pumps, at least one of which usually brewed within 10 miles (or 1 mile in the case of the excellent On the Level beer from Wrantage).
This review is for the Restaurant at The Hatch Inn. We were staying nearby and visited Hatch Inn for our evening meal on two nights during our stay. We had two excellent meals; the service was very good and the food was tasty and very well presented. We turned up without booking on the first night and was accommodated; the second night we booked in advance. If you are in this area of Somerset, I highly recommend The Hatch Inn for an evening meal.
Stayed for the night as a stop off down to Cornwall. Will definitely be staying again, lovey comfy room with everything you need. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Food and drinks were really nice and well priced - £4.6 for a decent pint 🤩
