I was placed here due to personal issues. I can say that the pub staff are amazing and get on with easily. The hotel staff on the other hand is very much the opposite. The hotel staff was very moody, couldn’t wait for me to leave, to the point of harassment. The food and drinks in the bar was very good. My only advice would be that I suggest to NOT stay here.
Very friendly place for food and drink, It is also dog friendly which is a big plus for me.
had a fantastic stay and would love to stay there again ! Great service and the full English on the morning was the best breakfast I have ever had ! Nice location and a lovely Italian next door !
I love the landlord — the pint, that is! Though to be fair, Paul and his team at The Hardwick Arms in Sedgefield are a cracking crew too. They’ve created a proper pub for the community, with two bars, classic pub grub, sport on the telly, a pool table, and a great atmosphere that welcomes all age groups. The new menu is top-notch — where else can you get a 10oz steak for under £20? Go on, give it a go. You know it makes sense!
