We needed to come to Newquay for a funeral. Suzanne was so accommodating. She agreed to our very last minute booking with a very late check-in an early breakfast and a very speedy checkout. Aaron checked us in, the rooms were lovely all with a perfect view of the harbour. And cooked us all a lovely locally sourced Cornish breakfast.
The food is good, bit pricey but the huge disappointment was the fact at 21.15hr they turned the main lights off and the music in the restaurant and left the lights on in the conservatory where we were sitting which basically told us drink up and leave as we want to close up. I did challenge the restaurant manager who said there’s nobody else here therefore we want to close. £200 for the room and £104 for the meal I expect a bit more customer service. Won’t be going here again.
Schlechtestes Bett für viel zu viel Geld. Habe nach 5 Nächten einen Bandscheibenvorfall durch das schlechte Bett (vorher nur Rückenbeschwerden) Sauber machen ist auch nur oberflächlich. Dreckige Handtücher werden wieder aufgehängt. Nur die Aussicht ist toll
The harbour hotel came to my rescue after my previous venue cancelled & they say things happen for a reason, this venue was perfect. The communication from Aaron the owner & Natalie the co ordinator was fantastic all the way through as well as all the staff who were friendly & so helpful and I can’t rate them highly enough. Natalie made the day even better by having everything organised & I didn’t need to worry about anything from start to finish she was truly a star. Hidden gem above the crowds with better than can be imagined views. Great food provided by great people. On the harbour so you will be immersed by the early activities which adds to the blessing of an experience of being able to stay. Many thanks to Aaron and staff.
