Hidden gem above the crowds with better than can be imagined views. Great food provided by great people. On the harbour so you will be immersed by the early activities which adds to the blessing of an experience of being able to stay. Many thanks to Aaron and staff.
This is the worst hotel in which I have stayed during my vacation in England. I checked into a single occupancy bedroom at The Harbor hotel with plans to stay for 2 nights but checked out after the first. The front desk service is sporadic at best, the bathroom was small with a very tiny sink and a shower stall. The tv did not work, with the images breaking up but the manager/owner refused to fix it and just shrugged at the problem. We had our wedding reception here in May. It’s was beautiful, we didn’t get the sunshine but it didn’t even matter in the end! They were so accommodating to everything we asked for, decor, food, music. Everything was tailored to us.
A rare treat to find a hidden gem in bustling Newquay. Perched on the cliff overlooking the harbour, this hotel is made exceptional by the well appointed rooms (all with balconies overlooking the water), and the hospitality and warm welcome of chef Aaron and his team. The food is some of the best I have ever eaten, lemon sole so perfectly cooked that it melted in your mouth. This really is a gem and we will definitely be back.
