Really good atmosphere and Sunday roast was delicious
I didn’t stay at this inn!!! Just to be clear - I’m reviewing the pub/food aspects of the place :) which were amazing!!! Staff were all really lovely, the setting is very welcoming, comfortable and homely. The food was really tasty! The pie was smaller than I expected but FULL of meat!!! With plenty of gravy, chips, and delicious veg! The tiramisu was also exceptional - all in all, a very good meal for a very good price. Thank you so much to all, I would highly recommend this place!!!
Fantastic pub. Stayed a night here at the start of a cycling trip I was responsible for organising. The landlord and staff were incredibly helpful in recommending things and helped us with leaving our cars there whilst we completed our cycling tour. Food was excellent - they even arranged food for members of our group that were arriving late after the kitchen had closed. Rooms lovely and clean. Also very good value. Beer was fantastic too.
