From its not-so-humble beginnings as the home of Carl Hilmer Guenther in 1860, it has been restored into one of the more unique dining experiences in the city. The breakfast menu (served all day) offers Southern Sweet Cream Waffles and breakfast tacos, among other items. At lunch, choose from such entries as Champagne Chicken Enchiladas and Pioneer Taco Salad.

Brunch was awesome, and the sights were beautiful. The environment makes it feel like if you are in the 1800s

Incredible atmosphere. Great food. Just sorry I couldn’t get the cinnamon rolls bc I was too full of the best waffle ever. From Chicago - will be back. Oh - and the hazelnut coffee. Omg

My family and I had the pleasure of dining here this morning. GREAT FOOD, beautiful grounds, and very welcoming hosts. Our server, Eric, was so nice. The next time we are in San Antonio we will definitely visit again.

It has great ambiance and the service was good. The food is pretty basic, I believe very over priced, your paying the area you’re in. It’s nice to try once but definitely not the breakfast out there.
