From its not-so-humble beginnings as the home of Carl Hilmer Guenther in 1860, it has been restored into one of the more unique dining experiences in the city. The breakfast menu (served all day) offers Southern Sweet Cream Waffles and breakfast tacos, among other items. At lunch, choose from such entries as Champagne Chicken Enchiladas and Pioneer Taco Salad.

Lovely
I had the chicken and waffle. Loved the waffle but the chicken was dry and not cooked to order. I think it sat under the heat lamp too long. The waffle with sweet cream was delicious!! I would highly recommend it with the applewood bacon!! I would return for the waffle alone.

I was frustrated with my friend for suggesting this place because of the long wait. My tune quickly changed once the biscuits and gravy came out. It was heavenly. Our waitress was awesome as well.
The best � coffee ever !! Super long waiting list more than an hour � but the garden is very nice for photos it also give us time to shop the awesome � coffee. � breakfast � food, average , not so good . It’s ok. The place and the coffee is what it is � great !
Found this great spot when I Googled searched best Breakfast Restaurant in San Antonio Texas. Has been here many times since with nothing but fabulous expiriences!
