From its not-so-humble beginnings as the home of Carl Hilmer Guenther in 1860, it has been restored into one of the more unique dining experiences in the city. The breakfast menu (served all day) offers Southern Sweet Cream Waffles and breakfast tacos, among other items. At lunch, choose from such entries as Champagne Chicken Enchiladas and Pioneer Taco Salad.

The was good and you can wander the grounds and house in designated section. Went early because of the heat in July.

It is a nice place to have a nice breakfast and it’s full of history. Beautiful house.
The pasteries are excellent. The Founders coffee is very cinnamon and chocolate forward. A real delight to your senses. The waffle is a delectable treat. Love the place.I go a least 6 times a year.
We came to San Antonio for my sons US Airforce basic training graduation. What a lovely spot for breakfast/brunch it felt like such a treat. The coffee was amazing, and the servers couldn't have been sweeter, loved it so much we brought my newly graduated airman back so he could also enjoy the experience with us, he LOVED having great coffee
