From its not-so-humble beginnings as the home of Carl Hilmer Guenther in 1860, it has been restored into one of the more unique dining experiences in the city. The breakfast menu (served all day) offers Southern Sweet Cream Waffles and breakfast tacos, among other items. At lunch, choose from such entries as Champagne Chicken Enchiladas and Pioneer Taco Salad.

RecommendedLovely place with delicious food.
Delicious and worth the wait! But we arrived there early and hardly any wait time. Loved walking around the grounds and shopping in the gift shop. It's on our Must Do list any tinge we visit San Antonio!

Awesome food, great staff, they make you feel so welcomed, it was my husband's first time. we loved it!
A lovely setting for breakfast
Easy parking, manicured landscape, heated patio. Nostalgic store upstairs. Easy seating when we arrived. Waitress was knowledgeable . Great coffee and cute cakes! I recommend a brunch and enjoyable atmosphere. Staff showed hospitality!
