Casta and Jorvic think that I have been here once before on our only previous visit to the town. A CAMRA Good Beer Guide entry so very likely. Also holds a Cask Marque. Only two of possible 4 real ales on this visit. A lovely pint of Ossett Blonde. Taylor's Landlord also available. The rooms wrap around a central bar. A small rear beer patio. Pies are their signature food offering.
Popped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and had the bangers and mash. Lovely hearty tasty food on offer here. Proper Yorkshire serving. Never had it with crispy onions but, I loved it. Staff were polite, friendly and professional. As it should be! I will return and definitely recommend.
The food was absolutely amazing. 5 stars. Thanks for making us feel very welcome,even the dog.
Beautiful food. Best chicken n leek pie. Definitely be back.
