We were planning to stay at this venue in January and were very disappointed to see the Glasshouse Restaurant would be closed. When we called the venue to discuss the hotel's other amenities we were put off staying by the Reception who was very negative about the hotel. We were shocked to see the high prices in Jan 2026 despite the inferior offerings. We have enjoyed the high quality hotel previously have opted to stay elsewhere - felt very unwelcome and underwhelmed.
We went again to the grove. This time in the glasshouse for lunch. Food was amazing. Really great quality and hot. We were served by Emilia who was very attentive and friendly. Charlotte a young waiter also was really attentive and went out of her way to find answers to my questions . The two of them made the afternoon enjoyable. Thankyou.
Splendid afternoon tea experience at the lounges
Me and my wife stayed here and the experience was phenomenal. The service was second to none, the staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and luxurious. The staff are knowledgeable, and informed us about the history of The Grove.
