Great pub very helpful friendly staff
Food apparently served until 7pm - popped in here at 6.30pm & read the menu, only to be told by the bar staff that the chef was refusing to make any more orders as he had a backlog. Hungry children very disappointed. Strange atmosphere throughout the pub - not family friendly.
Nice pub, small & quaint. Menu mid week is very small, good food but wish there was a larger variety. Stayed in the area for 3 days, would of gone back a 2nd night if larger menu.
Popped in for a quick meal enroute to camp site in Western Lakes. Despite only arriving a few minutes before afternoon service was due to end the staff were really friendly and more than happy to get us some meals. We had 2 platters between 3 of us, both were delicious and plentiful, as well as being fantastic value for money. Highly recommend if you're in the area!
