Takeley Street where the rooms are based, is situated roughly 25 minutes walk from Takeley itself. Probably a 5 minute drive. The rooms are open access through an unattractive metal fire escape at the rear of the property. The door is open constantly and anybody from the street can (and does) wander inside. The room was very dirty, and I can assure you I am not squeamish about such things - it was simply unclean. No one opened the door, my daughter stayed in the corridor with her dad until someone came out of the room. No shuttle bus, I paid £90 for the taxis. I will want full refund also for the taxi. Shuttle bus was in the deal. Very dangerous to be left on the streets.

Good location in easy reach M11 & Stansted Airport. Accommodation accessed via fire exit stairs at rear of building. Easy self check in. Room needed a good deep clean, esp the en suite shower room. Needs refurbishing. The pub is closed & the building looks abandoned & unkempt. We won't stay again.

Do not stay here Dirty bedrooms, dirty bathrooms, greeted by loads of rubbish Not fit to be allowed to charge people. Fighting to get full refund.
