The Glen Hotel was a highlight of our trip to the UK. Antoinette greeted us warmly upon arrival. We had the pleasure of staying in Room 2 at the top of the stairs. It was clean, cozy and well maintained. The shower had great pressure and was good and hot with two giant bath sheets to wrap up with. I was on a long journey by road and needed a place to stop for the night. I found this place on my Expedia app and booked a room. The owner was super-nice and welcoming, even though I arrived rather late. The room was clean, spacious, very light. This Victorian mansion is full of tasteful furniture and ornaments. A lovely building, very nice hosts, everything was perfect during my stay.
The Glen is a small friendly hotel with plenty of character. The rooms are comfortable, great hot shower. Service was impeccable. Breakfast is ordered the night before and table is laid according to your order. All freshly prepared. Charming place to stay for business or pleasure.
