Just returned from a wonderful weekend spent as part of a large wedding party at The George hotel. My room was really lovely, gorgeous bathroom with everything you need, including a fan as it was so warm and humid, a really thoughtful touch ❤️ Breakfast was huge and delicious and the staff couldn't do enough for you I'd definitely stay here again Thank you!! Stayed at the George hotel Wallingford many of times and my experience here just keeps getting better and better! Today I ordered food from their perfect “pub grub” menu, it was delicious! Service is perfect and friendly from the lovely staff in reception and bar! A big thank you to the George team, Until next time. Alex Roberts.
Visited the George Hotel and tavern at a weekend for a 70th birthday party. We booked a room (special rate included as a party booking). Our room 108 was on the ground floor. Large shower - single beds - complimentary hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner/soap. The room didn’t have aircon and it was on one of the hottest weekends! There is a bar area and outside seating.
