Attending yesterday with a small group. Upon arrival we were pushed to order food asap despite pointing out some of our group hadn’t yet arrived. Food was dreadful, over fried oil filled onion rings, battered fish that leaked oil when cooked, over cooked chewy chips, a chicken breast that looked like it had freezer burn and was so tough had to be ripped apart. 2 portions of onion rings were ordered and one was less than the other. if you aren't going to take anymore food orders after a specific time then make that clear on your website and Facebook page, this'll save people from a wasted journey.
Someone 75th birthday meal ,staff very pleasant nice food ,good afternoon
We stayed at our sons and went for dinner at the George hotel on Saturday evening the staff were wonderful, service was brilliant and the food was excellent, good value. The beer selection and prices were very good. Would certainly recommend not just for the food but the staff were great, and certainly be visiting again.
Friendly service and well priced tasty food. Went on a Monday night so quite quiet and quick food service.
