We’ve just enjoyed a wonderful week at the Garden Flat. The accommodation is luxurious and welcoming, and the hosts are friendly and informative. The location is ideal, being a very manageable walk into the Old Town and all major attractions and also a skip and a jump from Stockbridge which boasts a plethora of dining options and independent shops. We opted to use the private parking offered at a reasonable extra cost by the owners and basically installed the car for a week, returning only to collect it when we left. Super c... read more
We had a wonderful stay at The Garden Flat and were extremely impressed with the quality of the accommodation. The flat was beautifully clean and fully equipped with everything we needed, including baby equipment for our little girl. The location is excellent - only a short walk to lots of shops, restaurants and other attractions. We'll definitely be back on future trips to Edinburgh.
We have stayed at The Garden Flat several times and after having tried many hotels and self catering apartments dotted around Edinburgh over the years, we can easily say "The Garden Flat is our favourite". The location is perfect, quiet but just a few minutes walk to George Street for shopping. 15 minutes walk to the Playhouse and 10 minutes walk down to Stockbridge. We recently enjoyed a fantastic 3-night stay at this beautifully decorated apartment in Edinburgh. The interieur was gorgeous, tastefully decorated and had wonderful amenities. The kitchen fully equipped with everthing needed (though we did not cook, as there were many great places to eat out within a a short stroll) the beds confortable and the 2 bathrooms spotlessly clean.
