Stayed here for 2 nights. The Pub is a lovely 400yr grade 2 listed Pub with ample free parking. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and good at their jobs. The evening food was very good as was the breakfast.
I'd like to start by saying that leaving a review on Google was definitely not my first choice, as I know how damaging they can be to businesses. I tried reaching out to the pub directly first, I sent them an email after a disappointing lunch, but I never heard back from them and that was at least a month ago. I paid around £19 for a ceaser salad that contained no chicken, just a few dry bits of parma ham, and some completely iinedible croutons. Food was great. Booked a table but they couldn't accommodate us outside as all the tables were reserved by others..shame on a sunny day.
Lovely pub we visited on a day out to Goodwood races. Lots of outside tables. A traditional looking pub.
Come here a couple times every year, and the foods always amazing. Last few times we've been served by a lively chap who always makes us laugh. The views from outside are phenomenal looking over the fields of goodwoods countryside. Always a great visit when in the area.
