Lovely pub, very friendly and welcoming staff and the sunday roast was a tasty feast! Nice stroll through the woods from Whitemead forest park straight into the pub garden too.

I chose this pub/restaurant because of the good reviews. However, myself and my family were all very disappointed with the Sunday roast. The beef was very well done with no option for it to be less well done. The pork was okay but the crackling was soft and inedible. The Yorkshire puddings were overcooked and so crispy that they were pretty much inedible. The roast potatoes were passable but not great.
