As a replica of Bent's Fort, it's a cultural crossroads on the historic Santa Fe Trail. This area institution, which has been reviewed in the New York Times, serves up southwestern fare to everyone from lounging locals to heads of state including President Clinton during 1997's economic summit. Scrumptious servings of buffalo and elk tantalize the tongue. More traditional fare like salmon, filet mignon and even a vegetarian plate is also available. Open Monday to Friday at 5:30pm and at 5:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

A great night with friends! We always enjoy the atmosphere and great waitstaff. As a Sommelier, the wine list is always current and diverse. This allows for us to choose a great wine no matter what deliciousness finds its way to our plate! The food presentation is always on point with the beautiful flavors that follow! Have to say, one of my favorite Vanilla Bean Creme brûlées in the area! Cheers!

What a wonderful evening eating bison prime rib and visiting with a totally cool “Mountain Man” who regaled is with lots of history stories. The prime rib was cooked to perfection. The pomegranate martini was Uber delicious. Portions not too large, not too small...just right! From appetizer to dessert our meals were superb.

Visiting The Fort on New Year's Eve was fabulous. The atmosphere, and staff were fabulous and the food absolutely delicious. The service was almost too efficient. Our entire time spent there was about 40 minutes and for once I would have liked the pacing between each of the courses to be a few minutes longer in order to enjoy the atmosphere to it's fullest. I will be back again and I will express the pacing expectation to my server at the onset and I'm certain they will oblige.
Business response:
