About this business

As a replica of Bent's Fort, it's a cultural crossroads on the historic Santa Fe Trail. This area institution, which has been reviewed in the New York Times, serves up southwestern fare to everyone from lounging locals to heads of state including President Clinton during 1997's economic summit. Scrumptious servings of buffalo and elk tantalize the tongue. More traditional fare like salmon, filet mignon and even a vegetarian plate is also available. Open Monday to Friday at 5:30pm and at 5:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

One of the best places in Denver. Lots of great game and meats , the ambiance of the old Fort is something you only find in a handful of places here in the Mile High City. It’s a bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. We had an awesome Christmas Eve dinner here and can’t wait to go back!

Business response:

Thanks for your kind review, Belinda. We're so pleased you were able to celebrate Christmas Eve with us, and we look forward to welcoming you back!

A great Denver eating experience. Have to go there at least once. It's as unique as the Buckhorn Exchange downtown Denver.

Business response:

Thanks for your review, Paul. We're pleased you had a lovely dining experience with us and hope to see you again soon.

My family visits The Fort at least once or twice each year and it is always spectacular. The views are amazing and the atmosphere is unmatchable, not to mention that the food tells a story with each bite. It's definitely on the expensive side, but it's worth every dollar.

Business response:

Thanks for visiting The Fort, and for taking time to write a review of your dinner. We appreciate your continued patronage, and hope you'll visit again soon.
