The best Sunday lunch my wife and daughter and I have had in many years. HUGE portions well cooked and lovely atmosphere, what is not to like. Thank you
I didn’t stay in the rooms so can’t comment on that side of things. Had a meal in here recently, returning from the North back to Reading. Outstanding food. Pub itself is fairly “no-frills”, but there is an open fire. Good beer too. Just across the road from the Abbey, which is worth a visit.
Called in for a drink. Our friend was staying here. We had a drink and a fab bowl of chips. Staff were great. A cosy little pub in a beautiful village
We had our evening meal here. The food was good value, staff were friendly and efficient.
