The owners are from Greece, so the self-service dining area is decorated with Greek photos and artwork. There is a small grocery area and of course, a fish market. The food is fresh, and the portions large. Be prepared for a crowd at any given time; this place is an unbeatable value and that's a well-known fact.

I ordered the grilled Amber jack, rice, and green beans. I waited almost 30 minutes for my meal and my fish was only half cooked, and the green beans were hard. I sent my fish back to be cooked more and again it came back with only half of it cooked all the way. I didn’t have time to send it again. Great food and service! We love the atmosphere and the availability of fresh fish and condiments. The bar has a great selection and one especially good Prosecco. I plan to check on prices of pottery and other available vases and such you can buy. I would recommend any fish market but the Southside restaurant is my favorite!
