Melissa R. was very professional and knowledgeable. Rate was exactly what we were quoted and closed on time.
They started my loan process in September 2020. Charged 500.00 to my credit card. Did a hard credit check. For initial costs. They.had appraisal done the first part of October 2020. Was told everything is fine it will go through. Towards end of November 2020. They did another Hard inquiry on my credit. Was told because I was getting ready to close. December 1, 2020 was told they couldn't do the loan. Because, Google maps doesn't match property description. Was told that since they had done appraisal. They could not refund th... read more

I have used the federal savings bank for a mortgage and to refinance. Both times the process was very easy and painless. James and his team did a great job at navigating through all the paperwork and left me without worry. The customer service was some of the best I have ever had. I would definitely recommend the federal savings bank to my family and friends.

Daniel ****** and his boss Neal ***** were by far the worst people we have ever had to deal with. The 30 day closing on our home took 120 days. Yes you read that right. 4 months. Danny and his coworkers managed to push this back week after week. They were rude and unprofessional during the process. I would never recommend this mortgage company

To whom it may concern: On April 3rd 2020 I was contacted by Coner ****** of The Federal Savings Bank | 900 Wilshire Drive Suite 351, Troy, MI 48084 about refinancing our home. It was determined that we would not qualify for a conventional loan but may qualify for a VA loan. He then asked for 725 dollars to cover the appraisal and I gave him a credit card.
