It's in a brilliant location with a lovely walking route from the school - perfect for getting some exercise before tucking into their hearty Sunday carvery. Only went for the Sunday lunch carvery which was very good.
Had to order food days in advance???? Bit strange,must be a northern thing.
Nothing too much trouble.We travel around the UK alot and this is one of the best pub accommodation we have stayed at. Staff warm and welcoming,food excellent value. Highly recommend
