My wife and I thought the roof top bar was fantastic. We were able to thoroughly indulge our Blair Waldorf/Chuck Bass fantasy and will be sure to tell all our friends.

For me the Empire is all about location. We go to Lincoln Center and the hotel is across the street. The rooms are small as is the bathroom. The rooms are clean. The kuerig coffee is there, but only 1 cup is free. after that $3/cup. We stay often and came with our own kuerig cups. Another good thing is that there are really nice restaurants. PJ Clarkes is on the ground floor and cafe fiorello is across the street. Lastly, the staff is responsive.

the Empire hotel is located just outside the hassle and bustle of the big city and we LOVED it. Tommy on the door was always happy to help and give advice, Sharde the receptionist was just amazing from start to finish and then there's Kenny in the bar, he is a LEGEND! Our break was amazing but the people made it even better. Would Defo recommend this hotel. It's clean, staff are friendly and helpful and we had an absolute blast. Will definitely be going back to this hotel when we go back to NYC.

The pictures on the website do not do it justice. The lobby and rooftop lounges are awesome. The rooms while decent are way too small, the shower had no doors so when you shower the water is all over the bathroom floor. The beds were too firm. I personally told housekeeping lady not to go in my room. When I came back they had gone in and cleaned. All in all I do not think I would come back. It was already pricey. The website pics are not what the rooms look like.
