Small cozy room is a nice hotel centrally located. It was great to walk over to Central Park, up to Zabar's or down to Time square. Our room overlooked Lincoln Centre. Lots of restaurants within a few minutes. Staff were friendly. A little choked the rooftop pool was closed, nothing was mentioned when booking or checking. Would have been nice during a warm September. The rooftop bar had great views but service was snooty. That said, I'd definitely stay here again.
Thank you so much for an amazing weekend. Just left and wish I could be back. Right when we walked into the door, the service was amazing. The only thing that I wasn’t crazy about were the lobby bar hours. We wish we could’ve had a drink there but never got the chance. The room was clean and kept up. Great location! Will be back! Also, loved the rooftop bar!
Pool was under "maintenance" our whole 10 day stay. The rooftop bar was nice, however the on the occasions we went up there we were not aloud on the outside balcony as it was booked for "meetings". Hot water stopped working for 24 hours. It's a shame as the 2 main things we booked to stay at this hotel for, we were not able to use.
Interior rooms on lower floors are next to an extremely noisy HVAC unit. Don't expect to sleep if you like quiet.
I booked this hotel well in advance & paid dearly for the rooftop pool, only to be told by chance, when I called to confirm booking the week before, that the pool will be closed "for maintenance" during peak time summer, because that seems like such a fitting time for pool maintenance to take place. We could have got better accomodation at a cheaper price elsewhere, but we chose this one for the pool factor! A refund was denied & their care factor was zero. I loved the Old Fashioned drink on the rooftop. Ask for the western view facing Lincoln Center and NJ. Inside bar on 12th floor also amazing!
