We arrived late in the evening due to our other accommodation letting us down. Called the hotel and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in one of the new rooms that had only been completed that day, they knew the room would be hot so had put an Aircon unit in there as soon as they knew we were on our way. Staff were polite and very helpful, the room was beautiful and well appointed to a very high standard. Bed incredibly comfy and everything spotless. We had to make a last minute booking here as our Airbnb had let us down. The staff couldn't have been more eager to help and the place was a godsend. It's clearly still undergoing renovation works but we had one of the new rooms (they weren't supposed to be available yet but they let us have one) and it was fantastic. Nice spacious room with a lovely bed. There was an air con unit in the room (much needed on the hottest day of the year) which was slightly noisy, but not to the extent that it stopped us sleeping.
