Lovely staff..super venue been.past many times..never needed to stop...Will do in future.
Really lovely hotel just on the outskirts of Woodstock, and in close proximity to Blenheim Palace which was the purpose of our visit. We had a most enjoyable stay, rooms spotless with very comfortable beds and a powerful shower. They even had decaff tea in the room- bonus! Staff made us very welcome, and the breakfasts, lunch and dinners all fabulous. We will definitely return! Thank you.
A family celebration at this local venue today. I’m unsure what went wrong first. The septic tank emitted strong odours across the otherwise inviting garden area. The service was lackadaisical and couldn’t have been less interested (except for one member of staff who was exceptional). The food was as dismal as the service; with the mackerel being as pungently whiffy as to make one doubt the wish of eating it. The replacement soup was salty and tasteless.
