Had lunch here today. Lovely food and friendly service. Will definitely return. Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay here although they look good on the website! Perfect location for the train! Update - October 2025. Back here for the first time since the Dove's reopening. Still as good as ever.
The food was very good. I had the creme brulee and it was delicious. The lady who served us was friendly and chatty. I would definitely recommend this pub.
Sunday lunch was excellent, perfectly cooked and presented. Delicious will definitely go back. Good value for money. Sides are large potions so beware! We ordered 4 but didn't need to. Staff are friendly and attentive. Great place!
We’ve just had four Sunday roasts and they were bloody fantastic. Great portions, excellent quality, super service. Up here on holiday and would highly recommend to those staying at the Blackwood Forest Holiday resort.
Just enjoyed thoroughly good Sunday roast lunch. Perfect for rest of relaxed afternoon.
