Mister Donut was the name of a large donut company founded in the early 1950's. On February of 1990, Dunkin Donut's parent company bought the "Mister Donut" trademark. It was at that time that the shop owner Romy Reyes decided to break free from working under the name of a large donut chain and made the business into his own. This restaurant is my new favorite place to eat when I visit family in Indianapolis. I was just in town last week for four days and we ate at the Donut Shop 2 times. The food is always hot and fresh. The waitresses are so sweet. I always order the BLT with fries and a Pepsi and have a glazed donut for dessert. I look forward to going back next time I’m in town.
