Today was a tough but beautiful day on the OFFA’S dyke trail. At the end of our Latin we reached this town with a hard to pronounce name and met some lovely friendly locals in the local pubs. Ending up in the Dolphin, which according to the garage shop owner is the best food experience in the region. They openend at 5pm, we had a table at 7pm. Super friendly owners who were more than accommodating. Atmosphere and other customers made this place such a great vibe also. Didn’t eat here but everyone said the food was lovely and the chef came out to check on everyone which was a nice touch - would come back for sure.

Immediate friendly service when we walked through the doors, amazing atmosphere with the most polite staff and the food is incredible with the best service. Room is nice and clean, bed is super comfy, all for a great price. I would recommend this pub to anyone!!
Just down the road from where we stayed! Lovely staff and great homecooked food at a great price! The young man at the bar was so welcoming and friendly. We also had a chat with possibly the landlady, who was lovely also! The deserts are cooked by Mrs C herself, and were to die for. We were gutted we didn't get a chance to go back while on holiday, but we would again in a heartbeat : )
