Stayed here for 3 nights. Ate in the restaurant every night and the food was superb. The only negative was there wasn't much option for vegetarians but I asked if a starter could be made into a main and it was no problem at all. It came as a very generous portion and beautifully presented. Also had breakfast every morning which was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and warm. The room was very clean and tidy and had a comfy bed.
We had a lovely Sunday lunch with family. There was a choice of beef sirloin, slow cooked duck or slow cooked pork belly, as well as a selection from an à la carte menu. The beef, duck and pork were all ordered and thoroughly enjoyed! Service was excellent throughout our meal.
Great place to stay really enjoyed the experience had a great Sunday lunch and breakfast,highly recommend.
Just had a romantic night's stay. The atmosphere within of calm chic luxury, was echoed in the friendly helpful attentive smiling staff. Evening meal was ,"out of this world" and breakfast simply scrumptious. Looking forward to returning.
A breath of fresh air,, exceeded expectations, the website doesn’t quite show the offering in as a good a light as it actually is. The pub, gardens, rooms and food were all exceptional . A little gem with access to beautiful Devon and Somerset. Thank you guys
