Booked this hotel with LateRooms. On the very DAY we were to book in, the staff contacted us to say the hotel was CLOSED due to boiler issues. They added that I should have been refunded 'weeks ago' but not to worry, they had booked us in at another hotel. Thank goodness for the availability of that other hotel. Great atmosphere, very friendly family vibe.
Best Pub in Middleham
Superb village/community/family inn/pub - great family atmosphere, incredibly friendly and helpful staff (from owner Alison and daughter Rachel, Mandy the chef, Sammy (housekeeping), Sid, and all the others. Food good, great value all round - we will be back again. Note that there are stairs or steps to get anywhere - mobility-challenged guests (which we are) are helped by the team whenever necessary!
