Hd a great time at the D..would stay stay again.Got married in Vegas had the suite...beautiful.great location n Fremont. Everyone was so nice! The dealers remembered our names,had fun with us and we were assisted in all we asked for from coordinating a limo to where to eat! Thank you hopefully we will see you soon
Stayed at the D about 3 weeks ago. We got a very basic room. We were on the 6th floor about halfway down the hallway and there was no noise at all at night. We could see the Fremont St. canopy outside our window. The room was clean and the room staff took good care of us. My wife requested an extra shower towel and we had one daily. The elevators were a new experience but no problem to get used to. Handy to have a McDonald's right there so you don't have far to go to get coffee in the morning. We stayed here this past week. I was skeptical about all the negative reviews about it being so loud (though I would have been happy to hear the bands in my room). We got a panoramic room and it could not have been quieter. The elevators, well they were a non issue. That was another thing that concerned me about the reviews. I am wondering if they just could not figure out how to work the elevators as they are different, but no real wait for them. Been coming and staying here since, well before it was Fitzgeralds! Always a good time and great service. Seen lots of changes. ( but I really miss is the poker room.) Have a ball every time we stay/play here. Long bar is great. The shows are really good. Seeing, staying and playing at The D is a must when you are Las Vegas, nothing like the atmosphere downtown! It's great.
