My Husband and I took my in laws for their first time in Vegas and this hotel was perfect. I was surprised that the room actually looked as clean as in the pictures. The staff is super friendly. They go out of their way to accommodate your every need. When we arrived, the bellhopper met us in the parking garage to get our luggage and take us to our room. I stayed on the 16th floor it was really nice and the room was outstanding. I would recommend the "D" to anyone. And those elevators were great and different. Very pretty
The casino and the bars were fine. The room was terrible. Upon check in, I was told the only available room, in my requested category, was a handicap assesible room. For a 6' guy, that was an issue, the bathroom flooded after each shower, the closet and safe were at knee level. And on my last night, Which is tonight, I wanted to relax and watch television. Last week we spent 3 days/nights at the D. Being from Detroit, it was only fitting, especially for my 1st time in Vegas (gf's 2nd). We got a basic room which was almost near the end of the hallway. Our room was on the 12th floor. Everything was clean and spacious. After initially arriving, the cable for the tv wasn't working. Called the front desk and they had a tech come to our room within 15 minutes and had replaced the line and got everything working again. Great view from our room. My wife and I stayed there this week. First time in Vegas, hotel was amazing! Very clean, the staff was great, couldn't have asked for more! Restaurant was excellent, and has a great Fremont street experience! Highly recommend

Have stayed here in past, just 3 months ago and now again. Very well kept and clean but smoke detector went off this morning when I was sleeping. Panic attack, bad way to start day. I think they need to be updated or batteries changed more often!
