Checked in last night, a native Detroiter. Was really looking forward to it. Severely disappointed. Would not stay here again. Waited 20-25mins to check-in, though they had two people working the counter and we were first in line. Finally made it to our room and the shower was busted - packed everything back up and onto another room. Such an inconvenience when all you want to do is unpack and take a shower. Can't wait to check-out this morning.
First off, it made me give it a 1, should've been a -10. As a local, I found a great deal $55 a night. I thought, I would set up a little rendevous with my girl. Told her to meet me at the D. I'd be be at the long bar. Check in time 1:00. About 1:20 I go to get the room. My experience here was absolutely terrible. The conference manager Alex is the worst. We paid a deposit for a bar crawl for our party. I had to contact him the day before and the day of to get our passes. After he took our money MONTHS ago, I never heard another word from him. We get there, we were set to do our bar crawl had some minor issues there. I called down to the lobby for THREE days stating our shower had no hot water. The engineer never came. The Vue Bar on the second floor is our favorite place to play in Las Vegas! The bartenders are awesome, and the video poker is excellent. Also, Andiamo Las Vegas (the steakhouse inside the D) is amazing! Keep doing what you're doing -- I love the D!
