Gorgeous art deco hotel, lovely outdoor pool area, set on a cliff but only c£6 for a taxi to and from the beach. Menus in all restaurants were a little rich for my taste, would have been nice to have a larger selection of meals. If you have any mobility issues avoid room 114 as the steps in the bathroom were a bit tricky! Only one lift that just fitted two people with luggage.
When we first entered our room we were like wow this can't be 4 star. Very minimal. Dirty looking chairs, an old looking cabinet, an old style TV and no mini fridge. The room was cold so we turned the AC off. However we had a good night's sleep. The next morning our 4 year old daughter said she had the best night's sleep. The dining experience was great. Good food although expensive. Overall we had a great time. Just a heads-up they charge £12 per night for parking.

Not direct on the beach! Extremely disappointing – do not book! The hotel is completely run-down. Armchairs are damaged, carpets are held together with tape, and wallpaper is torn off the walls. The photos online are very outdated and do not reflect the current condition at all. I will be reporting this to Booking.com. Strongly advise against booking this place.
When i paid £400 for a 4* hotel I did not expect to walk into a scene straight out of "The shining". Booked this hotel for a 3 day spa break only to find out that the spa is not in the hotel and actually 3 doors down. The hotel itself is really outdated with wallpaper falling off, dirty carpet that is peeling off.
